RE:SONATE

If you’re old and tragic like me, you gave up on new music at least a decade ago. Aside from a Faith No More album in 2015 and a Tool one in 2019 I’ve rarely been arsed with it. Nowadays I just watch serial killer documentaries on YouTube instead. I mean…I was still doing that back in the day, but now it’s a bit worrisome.

This is mainly because of the borderline Satanic music industry behemoth. Yes, there is probably a load of decent stuff out there that I would like, but it’s virtually impossible to find because of the Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Olivia Rodrigo-based cults that they’ve formulated to relieve you and your children of money. Nobody producing anything worthwhile will make any cash and they’ll probably have to work in Pizza Hut as well.

So that’s where your music curators come in. You like this thing? Why not try this other thing also? And so on. I think that’s how it works. A fan of Ted Bundy? You may also like Israel Keyes*.
