The Drum: Rebel 50

Short ond sweet, this. Well, it’s short, at least. Though there’s a lot going on for your seventeen seconds, as I’m sure you can see if you watch the thing.

The downside of this was that I had to come up with it in a day and a bit, as it came out of the blue from nowhere. But the brief was very interesting: an intro animation for an event, to be played before live footage. And find some music for the background. Given the aesthetics of the material that was supplied, it took me down a very gritty road, so I naturally opted for a suitably sonic equivalent. Fortunately, I got it right first time. Back of the net.

I will say for this one that the assets were of exceptionally high quality compared to normal, also. Layered Photoshop and Illustrator files, transparent imagery.

10/10, would accept again.
