Jazz FM Awards
So Good They Named it Twice.
You might’ve seen the Jazz FM Awards already knocking about here. Well, they only went and got it refreshed. In 2017. So actually ages ago.
The first installment saw the awards logo as the standard Jazz FM chameleon one in gold. Gold = awards, see. Clever stuff. Well, that was binned and they brought it roaring into, er, 2017 with a fresh new look.
Now, I didn’t do this, so let’s get that out of the way first. The decision to convert chameleon to Gotham Black was none of my doing. Howeverrrr, loads of other stuff was. Lecterns, pillars, brochures…basically any and all print work for the events themselves. All fairly standard stuff.
What was not at all standard was that they moved the awards website from my server to elsewhere. Which in itself is fine. You can’t be precious in this line of work, so all good with me. However, a third party redeveloped it for the rebrand and after a year decided they didn’t really want to host it anymore. So back it came to me. Which was all a bit of a pain. Plugging in databases and all that horrible admin stuff.
As a palate cleanser, have a social media asset that I did, which I forgot to mention earlier.
