It’s a Made Up Word, Yes.
Another solo mission from me, and perhaps my favourite of the lot. With this one, it’s comedy. Comedy television programmes. And drama programmes. And sketch shows. And stand up. And games and podcasts. And soap operas? Sure, why not. Basically, anything pop culture-y goes in.
Whatever it happens to be, I extrapolate a logo or graphic from it and whack it on a t shirt. Which does sound quite slapdash, but really isn’t. A lot of research goes into everything as I attempt to tap into the in-joke, true fan minutiae of the subject matter.
What is a FREGWISP? The truth is, we don’t know. It’s a word my friend Steve made up in the 90s. We bought the domain name in 2001 and had some mental stuff on it back then (though Flash (RIP), so unreachable on the Internet archive). I ressurected it for this.
