Syncvault

If you’ve ever watched YouTube (which you have, come on now), you’ll have seen the YouTubers and their content. You can imagine it’s a struggle to find royalty free sounds beds that aren’t overused, right? Exactly. Well, Syncvault solves that, by effectively connecting creators with artists.

Well, how that works wasn’t my job. My job was to make it all look nice. When I got on board they were kind of struggling internally with a bit of to-and-fro with the designers and developers. The latter just saying ‘no’ to everything. You know. Like they do.

So I was brought in to cast a fresh set of eyes over everything. Initially I was asked to redesign a specific section of a page but in a fit of altruism I redesigned the whole page. From there I kind of ended up doing everything. Page after page followed (it was something like 25 bespoke designs in the end), as did social channel graphics, promo videos, event posters…I think there was a plinth of some kind in there at some point.
